Our photography classes are an extension of my past experience going out with colleagues on Monday for fun. Little did I know, this would be invaluable to my craft. I
want to help and share with you what I know. Starting
with basic camera operation; bracketing; custom settings
and more. We offer all levels of instruction. We are an informal bunch, but what you come away with is real and
of value.
Whether you use an iphone, point and shoot, film, or have
the new mirrorless cameras that is just fine. Most of our
students will have a Canon, Nikon or Sony camera, but we
can help with all. Our most important objective is to get
you started and inspire you to do more. We're so happy to
have you and look forward to meeting you!

Photography 101: Learning The Basics
Our class is a few days of overview in the classroom and then then we apply our knowledge to images we set out to shoot. Learning from reviewing your images is key to getting to the next level. This is a class for all beginners who want to have a basic understanding and then learn from "doing."

Photography 102: Single Day Learning Beginner And Intermediate
We start in the classroom, then head out to the shoot. We end with a review of our images and an image review. This is a full day class.
I found that doing this in small groups you learn the most.
This is how I learned practical shooting techniques and camera controls. Invaluable lessons learned in the field. I am there to help you and practice.
Workshops
We lead photography workshops with photography instruction and review. The reviews are also combined with editing (using Adobe Creatives Suites and other programs). A typical day trip is Pt. Reyes while overnight trip will be to Death Valley. Lots to discover, and night photography is a bonus with overnight trips. Unlike a "Meetup," we provide tips and instruction and end with an image review. Intermediate/advanced are the typical experience levels, but it is open to all levels.
